Elements: Lapidary Lab-Turn Rocks into Jewels Camp Ages 12-16

This hands-on introductory course teaches young learners the art of shaping and polishing stones. Students will explore basic lapidary techniques including cutting, grinding, sanding, and polishing, while learning about different types of rocks and minerals. With a focus on safety and creativity, participants will create their own finished stone pieces to take home. No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to get a little dusty!
