Beginning Lapidary: Cut, Grind, Polish (BHC)

This hands-on course allows students to dive into the fascinating world of lapidary — the art and science of shaping, cutting, and polishing gemstones and ornamental stones. Participants will learn how to transform raw mineral specimens into beautiful finished pieces suitable for display, jewelry, or collection. Through demonstrations and guided practice, students gain confidence using lapidary equipment such as saws, grinders, and polishers while developing an understanding of stone structure, hardness, and handling.
