Lapidary - The Art of Stone Polishing

This beginner-friendly, hands-on course is designed for those curious about the art of stone polishing. No prior experience is required. Through a series of guided projects, students will learn the safe and proper use of lapidary equipment, develop an eye for selecting and preparing stones, and gain foundational knowledge of stone structure and geology. Each student will complete at least two projects: a windowed specimen and a fully polished cabochon. This course is perfect for hobbyists, jewelry makers, and anyone who enjoys working with natural materials.
